During week 5 of my 52 week project we were also running a 7 day challenge through Inverurie Camera Club. The aim of the 7 day challenge was to take 7 photos over 7 days. Each participants were to set their own project at the beginning of the week. I opted for one object seven days where my object was a Hello Kitty figurine.

Kitty was in the shower but I didn’t get the effect and detail I was after.
{4/7} Disco Kitty
Disco Kitty was positioned on our black leather sofa with some heart shaped fairy lights in the background. I was hoping for decent bokeh but that didn’t happen. The end result is not quite what I had in mind but it still works and gives the night life impression I was looking for.
{5/7} Splish Splosh
This is also my {5/52} image for the Focus 52 group. I have seen so many splash and water drop images and always wish I could create something like that. So here is my first attempt of a splash. To start with my daughter dropped the kitty in the glass and we broke two glasses in the process, but as with most 6 year olds she soon got bored so I had the camera in one hand and dropped with the other. As soon as I had this photo I was pleased as I knew I had something to work with.
{6/7} Balloon Kitty
I created a balloon for Kitty and put a lovely party dress. Saturday is usually birthday party day.
