The prompt for the week was April Showers and after capturing this image I felt it was well suited for the prompt.
The prompt for the week was Easter and I chose this image of my daughter enjoying her Easter egg hunt.
This week the prompt was hope and what hope meant to me. I was thinking long and heard as to how I interpret hope. Hope is a very personal emotion and in a way something intangible so how to you try to portray that feeling through an image?
So what is hope?
I love this image from the recent wedding we photographed. It turned out so much better than what I expected.
Don’t you just love heritage. My mum has a lot of nostalgia in her and at times maybe too much where she find it hard to let go. But on this occasion I am so glad. I have a couple of different outfits that my mum kept. The top is on its second generation, work by 3 different girls and will be kept and hopefully passed on further. It is heritage at its best.
The prompt was a view from here. This statue called Mother Earth is overlooking our village so this is a view into where we live and the area around us.
This was the week we had Chickenpox in the house – she was a brave solder throughout the week. Apart from the spots and a few extra cuddles she did not seem to be affected by it.
