People talk about whether they are a cat person or a dog person, well I am a cat person. From a very young age I dreamt of owning my own cat and would read the pet add in the paper frequently. My parents always gave me the same answer – NO.

So when my husband suggested we get a cat I didn’t have to think long or hard. Our first boy was born in October 2001 and we were due to get him just before new year. That year Aberdeen had a lot of snow and our kitten was snowed in on the farm and we decided to call him Snowy. Snowy is a gentle but very sensitive cat, he wants to be everyones friend but will let you know if he is upset. In other workds he is a cat full of character.

A year later my husband surprised me with a Norwegian Forest Cat for my Christmas present. She was such an adorable little kitten and that year our Christmas three proved to be the perfect climbing frame. Mara is a gentle giant, she is very vocal and will speak back when you talk to her, she loves a cuddle and will crawl up on your lap at night for a cuddle.

So here I am introducing my two cats Mara and Snowy.
