I will always tell you that every child I photograph is adorable, because children simply are adorable and there is no other way to explain it. Children have this unconditional love, this innocence and they are just themselves. Teenagers and adults become more aware of their body, who they are and who they are perceived to be whilst the little ones they don’t live life to the full.
So a day in May I met this adorable 3 year old and I have not met a 3 year old with such a fantastic vocabulary before. The lifestyle session was definitely the right choice for this girl, she just loved walking around Stavanger with me talking about the things that matters to a 3 year old girl. We observed the birds and ducks around Breiavannet, climbed trees, walked through the city centre streets, stopped at a cafe’s for refreshments and a change of clothes and then we did what little girls do best, we went to the Geo park to jump, climb and play.
This three year old girl is the first client to wear Matilda Jane Clothing. I did think that I recognised that dress when she arrived but I was unsure. I am so used to being the only mum who dress my girls in Matilda Jane so it was really nice to finally photograph a girl in these adorable clothes.
